The iMAX-4GW300 is an iMAX wireless metropolitan area network and 4G LTE dual-mode wireless gateway system. It simultaneously supports iMAX wireless metropolitan area network private network technology and 4G LTE (FDD-LTE&TDD-LTE) wireless wide area network technology, and provides multiple Ethernet interfaces, which can be used as a multi-network fusion gateway. By utilizing wireless private network technology to achieve long-distance, high bandwidth, high reliability, and high capacity, it also supports the 4G LTE network access of the public network of telecommunications operators, improving the applicability of the system’s wireless networking and providing users with the optimal wireless networking solution more flexibly.
The iMAX-4GW300 wireless metropolitan area network (WMAN) module is suitable for communication in application scenarios such as fixed areas with long-distance, low latency, high bandwidth, and high reliability, and is used to establish a dedicated IP metropolitan area network.
The 4G (LTE) module of the iMAX-4GW300 is suitable for the Internet access of the wide area network of telecommunications operators. With a built-in full-network communication network card, it can meet the network access requirements of different telecommunications operators. It is suitable for scenarios with low bandwidth, small data volume, and low requirements for reliability and real-time performance in areas with 4G signal coverage without restrictions, and is used to establish an IP public network or a VPN virtual network.

  • High Bandwidth: The transmission rate of the WMAN module can reach up to 300 Mbps and can flexibly form a network with various series of iMAX-8000 base stations BS; the transmission rate of the 4G LTE module can reach up to 50 Mbps, and the specific communication situation is restricted by the communication capacity of the base stations of telecommunications operators.
  • Operating Frequency Band: The WMAN module supports the full 5GHz frequency band (4.9-6.0GHz) and is software-tunable, with a typical operating frequency of 5.8GHz; the 4G LTE module supports all-network communication.
